NECO Literature Recommended Texts [2026 – 2030]: The West African Examinations Council and National Examinations Council have released a list of recommended literature texts to help Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) candidates prepare effectively for upcoming exams.

The recommended books cover major genres including African and non-African prose, Shakespearean texts, African and non-African drama, as well as poetry. To study efficiently, candidates should also check the examination timetable and create a proper reading schedule for each literature text.
